Google Sheets to PDF — Export a Spreadsheet
Export a publicly shared Google Sheets spreadsheet to PDF and check the result before saving. Wide tables and long sheets can span several pages, so the preview matters.

How to convert your link
Copy the spreadsheet share link
Use a docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/… sharing link. Anyone with the link must be able to open it, and the owner must allow downloading. Keep any resourcekey in the link.
Convert and check pagination
Paste the link and convert. Review the PDF for split columns, long tables and extra pages. DeckExport requests Google’s default PDF export rather than reproducing your current browser view.
Download selected PDF pages
Select page numbers from the resulting PDF, or leave Pages blank to keep the complete export. These are PDF pages, not spreadsheet row numbers or tab names.
Sheet tabs, selected cells and print areas
DeckExport does not provide a tab picker, selected-cell export or print-area controls. A gid in a share link is not carried into this converter’s PDF export request. Do not rely on the tab visible in your browser to choose the output.
For a particular tab, cell range, scale, orientation or margin, use File → Print in Google Sheets and save the resulting PDF. You can then upload that file here to select PDF pages.
A PDF is a snapshot of the spreadsheet
The export shows Google’s rendered spreadsheet content. It is not an editable workbook: formulas, filters and interactive charts cannot be manipulated as they can in Sheets. Keep the original link if someone needs to work with the data.
Native exports must fit within 12 MB and 500 PDF pages. If a workbook produces an oversized PDF, create a smaller export using Google’s print controls. DeckExport does not silently truncate the file.
Export one sheet or keep a table together
In Google Sheets, choose File → Print. Select Current sheet, Workbook or Selected cells, then review orientation and paper size. Use custom page breaks to choose where pages end. Google’s Sheets print guide covers these settings.
A narrow PDF can be readable across multiple pages while a one-page export can make text too small. Check the preview at a useful reading size before saving. DeckExport’s page selector cannot undo a column split already present in the PDF.
Use the Google PDF-link generator for one or several default export URLs, or open a print-layout PDF to keep selected pages.
Common questions
Why is a table split across several pages?
Google determines the PDF layout. Wide columns and long sheets can create additional pages. For precise scaling, paper size and page breaks, use Google Sheets’ print settings before uploading the PDF.
Can I convert an Excel workbook or CSV?
Not as a direct upload. Convert the workbook to Google Sheets and use an export-enabled share link, or save a PDF in your spreadsheet application first.
Will this change the spreadsheet?
No. The converter requests a PDF and does not write to the source spreadsheet or connect to your Google account.
