How to convert your link
Copy the presentation link
Use the docs.google.com/presentation/d/… link from Share. The owner must enable Anyone with the link and allow downloads. An /edit link works; a published /d/e/… page does not.
Preview the exported deck
Paste the link above and convert. Review the PDF preview to check slide order, images and text. DeckExport uses Google’s PDF rather than taking screenshots of your browser.
Keep the slides you need
Leave Pages empty for the full export, or enter a selection such as 1, 3-6. Name the file and download it. Page numbers refer to the PDF shown in the preview.
What a slide PDF preserves
A PDF is a static version of the exported slides. Text and links are retained when Google includes them in its PDF. Animations, transitions, audio and video do not play as they do in the presentation.
DeckExport does not redesign slides or change their aspect ratio. If a font, image or layout looks wrong, correct it in Google Slides and export again. The PDF must be at most 12 MB and contain no more than 500 pages.
Speaker notes and handouts
The standard export is for slide pages. This converter does not offer a speaker-notes or multi-slide handout setting. For a notes handout, use Google Slides’ Print settings and preview and choose the layout you want.
Once you have saved that handout as a PDF, you can use Upload a file here to preview it or extract selected pages. You do not need to make a private presentation public to work with a PDF already on your device.
Save Google Slides with speaker notes
For a notes handout, open the presentation in Google Slides and choose File → Print settings and preview. Select 1 slide with notes, then print to a PDF destination. For several slides on a page, choose a handout layout in the same preview. Google’s printing instructions describe these controls.
Review that PDF first, then use Extract PDF Pages if you want an excerpt. The link converter above uses the standard slide export; its Pages field selects output PDF pages, not speaker-note layouts.
Just need a reusable export URL? Create a Google PDF link or batch link list without retrieving the document.
Common questions
Can I use a presentation with downloads disabled?
No. Google Slides requires export permission. Ask the owner to enable downloading or send you a PDF. The DocSend and Speaker Deck viewer-capture fallback does not apply to Google Slides.
Does this convert a PowerPoint file?
A .pptx upload is not supported. Open it in Google Slides and use a share link to the converted presentation, or export a PDF in PowerPoint and upload that PDF.
Can I rearrange slides in the downloaded PDF?
Yes. Enter PDF page numbers in the order you want, such as 3, 1-2. Duplicate page numbers are removed. This changes the downloaded PDF, not the original presentation.
