How to convert your link
Copy the presentation URL
Use the public presentation page at speakerdeck.com/author/presentation. A profile page or search result is not a deck link.
Capture the slide images
Paste the presentation link into DeckExport. The converter reads the public slide list and captures each page in order, including slides that have no transcript text.
Preview and download
Move through the preview to check your slides. Save all pages, or choose a range for the part of the talk you want to keep.
A PDF made from the slides you see
DeckExport uses the full-size images served by the Speaker Deck player rather than thumbnails from the presentation listing. It checks both the player’s page list and the presentation’s slide links so a missing page does not silently become a shorter PDF.
The saved PDF preserves the visual slide layout. Text is part of each image and is not searchable or selectable. Speaker notes, live links, video, and animation are not added to the PDF. Keep the original presentation URL if you need those features.
What to check if conversion fails
The presentation must be publicly accessible. Confirm that you copied an individual deck URL and that the author has not removed it. A private presentation needs a public link or an original file from its owner.
Capture supports up to 100 slides and 24 MB of source images. Each slide must be within 4 MB and 16 megapixels, and the completed PDF must fit within 48 MB. An unusually large deck, a changed player format, or an unavailable slide can prevent conversion. DeckExport will show the error so you can retry or request the original document.
Original downloads and public slide images
If the author provides an original PDF download on Speaker Deck, it can preserve document content that an image capture does not. Speaker Deck allows authors to disable downloads; its private and password-protected options are separate from a public presentation.

Common questions
Does the presentation need a Download PDF button?
No. DeckExport can build a PDF from the public viewer’s slide images when a native PDF download is not provided.
Can I save selected slides in a different order?
Yes. After the full deck is ready, the Pages field accepts a selection such as 5, 1-3. DeckExport exports the pages in the order you enter.
Does DeckExport add a watermark?
DeckExport does not add a watermark. Any branding or watermark already visible on the source slides remains in the captured PDF.
